Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal Oto Rhino Laryngologica Indonesiana (ORLI) must be original works that have not been published elsewhere and must align with the journal’s aims, Focus and Scope, and Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts are screened by the editorial team for completeness, ethical compliance, and similarity using iThenticate.
Eligible manuscripts are then evaluated for scientific merit and novelty before undergoing ORLI’s double-blind peer review process by qualified experts in the relevant ENT–HNS subspecialty. Reviewers assess scientific validity, methodological soundness, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Editorial and reviewer comments are communicated to authors for revision, and a point-by-point response is required.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision after considering reviewer feedback and the revised manuscript. Accepted manuscripts proceed to language and format editing before publication. The editorial team reserves the right to reject a manuscript at any stage for ethical or scientific reasons.
